The Lumberton Historical Museum will tell the stories of the people who tamed the Big Thicket and helped grow the town of Lumberton.
It will offer exhibits and educational opportunities for children and adults about the history and culture of our community and this land we call home.

Join us as we learn about the early settlements, neighborhoods and towns, between Pine Island Bayou to the south, and Village Creek to the north, that grew into today's community of Lumberton.
The Lumberton Historical Museum will be located in the new Event Center being constructed next to Lumberton City Hall.
